CLC1990 was the 1st CORINE Land Cover inventory and lasted for 10 years. Photointerpretation mostly done on plastic overly. Field checking was an integral part of the work. The basic parameters of the project (25 ha minimum mapping unit, 100 m minimum mapping width and the European level-3 nomenclature) tested. These are used consistently in all subsequent inventories. |
